We are looking forward to ABA TECHSHOW 2021. We don't do a lot of trade shows, outside of ABA TECHSHOW and various events with our Bar Association partners. This is our first virtual show. We are cautiously optimistic. We are excited to be in the booth and meet people, like we are every year. No doubt it will be different this year but that doesn't mean it can't also be great. We'll get back to you on that one. But we have planned some great stuff. If you are attending ABA TECHSHOW 2021, stop by the booth if you want a sneak peek and make a difference, too.
Well, you know, we are always improving our platform. As the capability of technologies advances, so do we. But we are cautious about it. We don't build stuff just because it's cool. We build the features our users ask for and need.
We do have some key integrations. But we are selective about them. Sure, we could more quickly roll out different features through integrations. But then there are data concerns, at least from our perspective. With each and every integration, your data lives on another server, somewhere. Every supplier takes due diligence to protect all data. But stuff happens. And the more servers your information is on, the higher the chances of data issues.
So we build stuff ourselves. And that slows us down a bit. But it also means we only have one price tier. We keep it Simple on purpose. Now, for the sneak peek!
We are excited to preview some new features at ABA TECHSHOW.
Custom Fields: Create as many as your law firm needs. It's different for each type of law and law firm and lawyer for that matter.
Custom Client Intake Forms: Generally speaking, each area of law practiced within a law firm has a standard set of intake questions. It's obviously different for Collections than Immigration. Create as many as you want. They are standardized for the law firm and each attorney can simply assign the intake form to the case. But it doesn't stop there. Each intake form can be customized for each case, if needed, starting from that core intake form.
Document Automation: We really focused on keeping it Simple. No cutting and pasting snippets of code. Drag and drop each field in to the form. Standard fields, custom fields, and content from the custom intake form are all easily accessible. Super easy. Click a button and voila. The document is autofilled and stored. Simple.
If you are attending ABA TECHSHOW this year, stop by the booth. We are excited to show these features off. If you aren't attending, well, we can still help you. Book a demo and we are happy to show you around.
We thought really long and hard about the year since the last ABA TECHSHOW. We remember meeting some GREAT people. And we remember hitting a local store to pick up some hand sanitizer for those that may want it. All that hand shaking and stuff. Boy, we didn't know to not take that for granted...
So that led us down the path to thinking about the last year in general. And while we prepared for the virtual giveaway, we decided to make it easy for visitors to win something AND make a difference, too.
Each person who comes to our booth from ABA TECHSHOW and 'Spins The Wheel' triggers a donation to Feeding America. That's just automatic. Then, once they spin the wheel, they could win something for themselves or trigger a larger donation to Feeding America. Because, let's face it, it's tough out there for so many people.
The ABA TECHSHOW booth is pretty slick, we must say. Easy to get around and easy to connect with fellow attendees. And easy access to all the great topics, too.
But to find us, or any of the ABA TECHSHOW sponsors, be sure to select the 'Sponsors' link and then search for SimpleLaw. Super easy to do. Click on our logo and voila, you are in our booth. From there, we can show you our platform, our new features, and chat. There is content to help you get acquainted with us and, of course, the link to the Spin the Wheel.
We are excited for the show this year, as always. The goal is the same every year - connect with people, show them around SimpleLaw, and have some fun too. No magic show this year, sadly, but we will be back next year - in person, we hope.
