As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, we are reminded that the Holiday season starts very, very soon. In some cases, it has already started. Trees are lit and decorations are up. In the stores, Christmas items are readily available. Even the countdown of shopping days has begun! I read an article yesterday that says putting your Holiday decorations up early can lead to greater happiness. But that made me wonder.
What is it about Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and other festivities that makes us happier? We certainly have our opinions. No doubt it has a lot to do with changing our focus. This time of year, we think about friends, family, and the larger world in general. For us, that includes our attorney users, the clients who use our platform, our entire global team, and of course each other. Not to mention our families.
We are fortunate to have a terrific crew of talented, dedicated, and fun people who work at SimpleLaw. I am proud to call them all friends. No doubt you feel the same way about your clients, co-workers, or if you are a solo attorney, yourself! It really does take a village to manage your professional and personal life. So even if you aren't in a multi-attorney law firm, you no doubt have 'helpers' that support your overall success.
So as this holiday season begins, we hope you take a moment or two to focus on those that matter the most to you. Celebrate the season now and always, at least to the extent that you can. We'll be here to help remind you to the extent that we can, too.
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!
